Downtown Bardstown KY. Cute hotel. Very comfortable with friendly service and a nice restaurant. Located on the roundabout in town. Walkable downtown. Located next door to Chicken Cock Distillery and several shops, restaurants and bars.
2025: We went to the Restaurant only. It was great. Danielle was a very attentive waitress. We really enjoyed the selection of entrees and appetizers. We plan to stop here regularly when we pass through Bardstown. It is a very historic location inside and out.
This is a great historic place to have an excellent meal. The servers and staff here were very hardworking, friendly and professional. The food was delicious and came out quickly as ordered. This restaurant is clean and well kept it is very easy to find using Google Maps. There is plenty of parking on various streets. If you are in Bardstown or on the bourbon trail check this place out.
We stayed the night of the Christmas Parade. Perfect in that our room overlooked the courtyard. Room had comfortable beds and updated bathroom! Just steps from Talbott Tavern. Good food. Great service. Would highly recommend.
Did not stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant. Sheppards pie was tasty and plentiful. The bourbon walnut chicken was crunchy and flavorful. Burgoo was spicy (good spicy not too hot) and had a lot of meat. Great meal and good value!
